University of Hawaii at Manoa Help

Hi so I have to make a decision on a college really soon and Im really struggling. I thought I was leaning towards UH Manoa but the more I read about it I only hear bad things. I would be double majoring in political science and global studies. Ultimately I want to get an International Relations degree with a focus in East Asia (which is why I was ultimately drawn to Manoa) I was wondering if anyone and info on these majors, I would either minor or triple major in Asian Studies. I m worried because I am pretty academic focused and am a honors and AP student here. My other choice is Arizona State (I live in AZ) but Manoa seem better because of the good Asian Studies program. So can anyone tell me about the school and political science/global studies program. Also anything about living in Hawaii, the campus, and dorms. Thank you!

Hawaii is unlike any other place in the U.S. It is very multicultural with the predominant culture being Hawaiian, not white. Here is one website that can give you a taste of what it is like to live in Hawaii. http://www.alohafriends.com/movetohawaii.html There are people who move to Hawaii and stay forever and there are those who move back to the mainland after a year or two.
