University of Idaho vs Washington State University?

So, I got accepted into both the University of Idaho and WSU.
I'm planning to major in Political Science and go to law school after my undergrad.

Which school should I pick?

^buuuuuuump

Full disclosure: I’m a Vandal alum, class of '10.

I loved UI because of its small size and close-knit campus environment. Moscow is a great place to live, study and work - you can walk or bike just about everywhere. A lot of WSU students end up in Moscow on Friday nights, because there’s a ton of college bars.

I’m not really qualified to comment on the relative merits of the political science departments (I majored in journalism) but Idaho does have some great history professors. Class sizes are pretty small for a flagship public, and I found the faculty to be very accessible, flexible and friendly.

Feel free to PM or e-mail me if you have any more questions about UI.

I believe that the Politics and History departments at WSU are experiencing a lot of course-cutting this year because of financial issues. You should check with the department about the feasibility of a Political Science major there.

Thank you so much, polarscribe! I’ll definitely send you a PM!

seattle_mom, I’m gonna check w/ their department. Thank you for the info!

My daughter is applying to both University of Idaho and Washington State University for nutrition/dietetics. Is anyone familiar with that program at either school?
