I was just accepted to the UMD and the CIVICUS living and learning program! I am super excited as UMD was one of my top choices regardless of the living and learning program! I know a little about the living and learning houses from my visit to campus and the slightly outdated CIVICUS website but I was curious as to if anyone had a first hand experience with the program or had any other information to share! I know I could be patient and wait for more information from the university but I'm very excited!

Congrats warriorchick! I’m sorry I don’t know anything about CIVICUS except that it looks like a good program. I am guessing - based on the lack of responses here, so far, that there aren’t that many people accepted into the CIVICUS program - do you know the number they limit it to? I know for the individual scholars programs they were saying they don’t want to put more than 70-90 students in it… Go Terps!

OP, why not take your question to the UMD forum. Several people over there who know a lot about UMD.
