Applied to mechanical engineering and physics, got accepted to Letters and Sciences :(. Don’t know why since my cumulative GPA is 3.95 (28 credits) with A’s in Calc 1-2, Physics 1, and Chemistry. I am also taking Calc 3, Differential Equations, Physics 2, and Statics this semester and expecting to get A’s in all of them. Pretty disappointed :\
@patrickbritt Already received my acceptance from UMBC, was just waiting to see what UMD says. I would imagine possibly tomorrow since it looks like they’ve released quite a few today.
Myself and someone I know were both postponed, but we both have great college stats. We are freshman however, so that may be a factor. Maybe UMD postponed alot because they felt pressured to release them “quickly” and that will give them more time… who knows.
I got postponed also smh
@NicknameA you probably are missing gateway courses to get into that college. You will get in once you complete those courses though. You’re guaranteed admission once you complete them and have the required gpa.

@NicknameA Same here I applied for Business 4.0 GPA decent hs record and good gpa and got in for letters and sciences…
I am biology major if I got into letter and sciences is that good?
@RealSpacePope yeah, i got into ohio state and need to let them know fairly soon. I would just like to know whats going on because it seems like people have gotten accepted, denied, and then deferred. Yet, theres several of us who have absolutely nothing.

If anyone here who transferred and has less than 30 credits and did not submit a high school transcript and SAT or ACT scores, then your application was not processed.

Kinda sucks that internal transfers have to wait longer for an admission decision than external transfers.
