I got classified as an OOS student. Even though I’ve been living here all my life. Anyone else in this situation? And where is the housing and dining form?
@DragonFire16 They did this to me as well. Just call residency services. Make sure you call them because they suck as responding to emails.
Did anybody get the email about the openings in Dorchester? I accepted it and got housing for Fall. Anybody Else?
I literally had a 3.7 gpa with 56 credits coming from and instate university, and I was not accepted. (???)

@umdapply4595 I’d call admissions and ask why. There might’ve been a problem with your application, they might’ve not received your final transcript or something in time. There was a small problem with my application that caused me to not get into the program I wanted to, but I called and it’s being dealt with. Might not happen in your case, but knowing why exactly you were denied would be nice, one would think.
I had a 3.58 gpa and got rejected as well. I was aware that the regular deadline is much more competitive than priority. Kinda regret not applying priority …
@umdapply4595 Don’t be surprised. I got rejected too, and the same GPA3.7 with 60 credit. They said it’s because they receive 6000?(I’m not sure) applications this year. I did apply Priority deadline but since I miss one of my transcripts they will only consider me as the regular applicant. Do you wanna apply again or going to another university?
@smiles089 I feel regret and upset too.If we apply priority deadline, we would definitely get in. Anyway, let’s just move on.
@bbe267 I just got a housing agreement for Dorchester too Didn’t get a email, but it looks like I’m staying there for the fall semester.
Forgot to post in here. I got in, but I will not be attending. Being postponed made me search for a different college, and I will be going there instead of UMD. I am happy with my decision, but a little disappointed I will not be joining my friends.
