@ss021798 You’re sounding a bit like a conspiracy theorist to me lol
@sbk0021 there is also a link (the last or second to last one in the portal) I clicked on that to also check if that’s where they post our decisions. Mine says “congratulations, all documents have been received” because I wasn’t sure where to check for the decision
Mine has always had the green checks, a week after I submitted my college transcript my application said complete. I have noticed the application page has been lagging and is becoming pretty slow. Hopefully something is being worked on.
Something has me thinking that we will be hearing within the next couple days. I would say tomorrow, monday, or tuesday
@ss021798 okay then I hope it works out!
@tallpolyglot Hey, I’m just being hopeful
@ss021798 all this waiting is awful. Are you a transfer student?
No one has housing glitch at all???
I would like some good news to give out over Easter weekend…
@sbk0021 From what I remember I selected that I didn’t require test scores; I have over 80 credits. However, my application said until yesterday that it was incomplete. I was worried about it and contacted admissions about it in February and they said not to worry about it.
@tallpolyglot Yeah, I’m a transfer student! I’m just so sick of waiting. I keep checking for the housing glitch constantly.
@ss021798 I think you’re fine. I applied to an LEP transfer I hope I don’t have to wait longer for a decision! :((
Comparing everything from past years, I really think we should find out tomorrow. But… I guess there is a chance that they will wait until next week because of Easter. I really hope not though. I just want to find out at this point, the anticipation is killing me
This thread is a feedback loop of anxiety.
@sbk0021 I applied to an LEP program too I’m hoping that we hear the same day everyone else does. I’m just a little worried because I’m also out of state, so I hope they don’t delay my decision.
@ss021798 I’m also a transfer student and I am to. The whole process is exhausting!
@6b32aa From what my friends have told me we will get into letters and sciences on the same day everyone else gets their decisions, which is the generic school. We may have to wait longer to hear from the other schools
I just got off the phone with admissions because I had a quick inquiry about my particular application. The admissions rep told me that we will be hearing by the end of the week or early next week because they ‘don’t have a set date’ and are ‘just wrapping up a few things’
@sbk0021 does that include even if you have all the gen ed requirements and prerequisites? I am graduating from a 2 year CC.
I really hope decisions are reased by this week like everyone is hoping for. I also applied for back up schools but if umd takes too long I may loses those spots too. What’s everyone’s plan on where they’re staying? I’m still going to try to get on campus residency, although very unlikely for us transfer students. But I’ll still try with that and have an off campus apartment as my plan B.
I’m going to update my status: I emailed admissions and they said that the last high school transcript they had was before I graduated high school (I applied by priority) and since I did not attend UMD, they never received my final grades. Well, this means that I’m not in the run for priority transfer anymore, even though it’s going to mess with my future plans without a decision and I submitted my application in February.
