what is my chance of getting into UMD as international student if I apply by regular deadline? I applied by priority dead line but the admission didn’t accept my application becouse i didn’t submit transcript from my country. So, they gonna consider my application if a submit my transcripts by the regular deadline.
I applied by the priority deadline but they didn’t receive my transcript so they told I’ll have to wait for the regular deadline. I am currently enrolled in CC and will be getting my associates in May. I have completed 65+ credits and have a 4.0 GPA. What are the chances of getting in by the regular deadline?

Hey! Is anyone a business major!? I applied as a business marketing major and got my acceptance letter to UMD however, I was reconsidered till the end of current semester for the business school. I was told by a friend that recommdations are mandatory for LEP. Did anyone get into the business school without sending in recommendations!? Please let me know!
@climbk2 i checked my unofficial transcript but nothing is there. It does say however that it will be available roughly 15 business days after you are admitted.
@angelli1997 I sent two recommendations but it never got sent according to Coalition, so I assume they didn’t receive them, but I still got accepted into the business school. I have some friends that didn’t submit any letters and still got in as well! Having letters could be helpful, but it’s not required

Like I currently have a 3.63 GPA, but since I will complete my 45 credits this semester and it might go down alittle bit so I’m super nervous.
@angelli1997 Gotcha! I had a 3.79 GPA with 52 credits completed when I applied and got an A in the three gateway courses. I think as long as you have over a 3.5 you should have good chances!

@climbk2 I just activated my ID set up my account and everything then you should be able to see it, but nothing was there. There is step by step instructions on how to do it on the page that should help.
@thescorpio No, I haven’t payed the deposit. I will decide if I will be attending depending on my credit transfer equivalency

Which school do you guys think has a better CS Department - UMD or Purdue?
idk they seem to be at the same caliber. I would consider other components of each school like costs, culture, and surrounding area
