<p>Essay #2 (Required for all applicants. 500 words maximum) Describe the unique qualities that attract you to the specific undergraduate College or School (including preferred admission and dual degree programs) to which you are applying at the University of Michigan. How would that curriculum support your interests?</p>

<p>Do I have to talk about the college of engineering specifically throughout the essay or can I talk about how I discovered my love of engineering through my CAD class and my teacher in that classroom? Then mention why I want to attend that specific college at the end?</p>

<p>The main theme should be about the “unique quality of the school” (CoE in your case). If your essay can be used for any school other than UMich CoE, then you are off the topic.</p>
