Okay, so I’m an incoming senior with the following qualifications:
Michigan Resident
WEIGHTED GPA: 4.042 (haven’t calculated UW but lots of APs)
ACT: 30
Extracurriculars: Soccer team, NHS blood drive coordinator, Exec Board, Green team president, political action club founder/president, disc golf club, part time job at aquarium store
Desired major: Biology/environmental science
Do I have a decent shot at getting into U of M?
Also, would it be in my best interest to apply early action or to wait and take the ACT/SAT again and try to improve my score to a 31-32? Could I potentially apply early and still retake and send my new scores if they’re better? Thanks so much!
I forgot to mention, my class rank is 38 out of 444 students, will this hurt my chances?
I’ve also dual enrolled in a sociology class at Grand Rapids community college and taken six AP classes and have received five 5s and one 3 and plan on taking at least 3 AP classes my senior year
