Good Afternoon!
My student is a freshman at The Ross School of Business at UMich. He has applied and been rejected at some of the top/exclusinve investment/consulting clubs, which he thinks diminishes his chances of getting great internships/networking opportunities and all that. Evidently, he is feeling quite disappointed at this time. My question is, what other resources can he use to make it the best experience possible for him? Thank you in advance.
There are so many opportunities at Michigan. Start with their website and see. This is one example https://lsa.umich.edu/bli
Get involved in a group of interest. There are many pathways to business internships etc. The Ross clubs are just one way. Talk to the advisor also
