University of Michigan Waitlist 2024

Does anyone know how many waves there were? I was part of the 4/23 wave, but I’m just curious to know how many waves there were in total and how many people were accepted through the waitlist.

5%came from this interview with Michigan President.https://www.cnbc.com/video/2020/05/04/university-of-michigan-president-on-covid-19-financial-impact-admissions.html
No one will know the numbers off the wait list till like the fall when the head count is solid.

That was the only waitlist wave as far as I know :frowning:

In the 4/23 waitlist wave, we had 3 offers in our high school.

i think it was only the 4/23 wave

dear michigan, please accept me.

Dear Michigan, please accept me ?

A friend (OOS) called their counselor to ask if indicting they didn’t need aid would change anything, and the counselor told them the review process is need blind, and they don’t take financial need into consideration during the review process.

Dear Michigan, please accept me.

Keep faith guys- I saw on reddit that people got off waitlists today- Colleges definitely took the weekend to get numbers ready. There may be a trickle or a wave (nobody knows) for Michigan soon!

TODAY??? Aw man this is big sad ???
There goes my chances

@schmendy27 are we talking other colleges or UM?

AHAHAHAHAHHAHA I read it wrong, probably for other colleges. I even went on reddit to check ???

other colleges- but it’s good that the waitlist period is not over like many people on Reddit were suggesting.

That would be really sad

Apparently someone on reddit said some people got an email from Michigan asking them to set up a call. Does anyone know what that would mean

I saw it too, I think it’s only for the law school

where did you see that? maybe that means LSA is soon hopefully.

On law school admission sub-reddit, I think it’s different from ours

Still seems to be a lot of waitlist movement in top tier colleges.
