University of Minnesota Fall 2019 Transfer thread

does anyone know how to find out what classes will transfer/how many units we will have if we decide to attend? should i just contact admissions?

@transferrrrrrcc my kid is a freshman applicant but is also a PSEO student at another school. If they have your college transcript they email you how to generate a report of transferable credits. He actually gets an email every couple weeks abou5 that since acceptance. I’m sure you could contact admissions for more specific questions but this is one school we haven’t had to guess and everything will transfer for him.

I have gotten two transfer credit reports through UMN so far. Also, a financial aid officer informed me that award letters for transfers should be out by March 18th

letters in the mail or do you mean we can see it on our MyU account?

@transferrrrrrcc You get an email with instructions on how to generate a report through your u of mn account. Sorry for being unclear.

@MusakParent Haha, you’re good. I emailed them and got an email back today about creating a profile on Transferology.

I was talking to @Ayeitsetho about how we will be receiving financial aid letters.

So I never received my financial aid letter. I called and the financial aid officer told me MyU won’t be updated with the financial aid letters(I don’t know why), but the letters are being packaged and sent through the mail. Btw, they should be ready by tomorrow(I hope) so if you ask a financial aid officer to send you a pdf copy through your email, they would probably do so.

i got my FA letter in the mail today and got absolutely nothing. is this it or will there be merit scholarships?

@transferrrrrrcc UMN doesn’t give a lot of merit scholarships unless you are out of state.

@henxnr yes i am OOS
