Amazing how upset some people get about UA cheerleading in UA THREADS!?!?! Also amazing how people with no affiliation to UA work so hard to discredit the place. I, for one, am now a big fan and am very excited to visit and add it to our list of choices.
I believe UMN has a better Computer Science department? The professors are awesome from what I’ve heard. If you’re even the least bit unsure of your major though, I would go with 'Bama or call UMN to discuss options.
OP I think there is a greater student diversity of students at UA than UMN meaning from out of state and from all over the US. Have you visited and compared both campuses and your checklist to evaluate? A large school is also going to have a lot of recruitment, co-op, internships from lots of places.

The unemployment rates are largely irrelevant. Those don't apply to college graduates.

Since everyone loves rankings, here is a link from the American Institute for Economic Research concerning “Top Cities and Towns for Job-Seeking College Grads” of various population sizes.

Midwest cities of all sizes are named, but surprisingly, outside of Atlanta, no cities of any size in in the top twenty from GA, AL, MS, or FL panhandle area.
So what? And who is the “everyone” who loves rankings?
This isn’t a ranking of where the most jobs are, nor is it a ranking of where the most STEM jobs are.
