University of Minnesota Twin Cities or UC Berkeley (CHEME)?

Hi all,
I’m trying to narrow my choices for college and at the moment I am split between UC Berkeley and University of Minnesota Twin Cities (I’ll call in UMTC for short). I’m a chemical engineering major, so UMTC and Berkeley are both excellent choices. I’d just like to hear others’ opinions, esp for UMTC, since I live right beside Berkeley, so I have heard a lot about UCB but not UMTC.

It is really hard to beat UCB for in-state engineering of any kind. If a school is better at engineering than UCB, it will not be UMTC.
