University of Minnesota vs. University of Pittsburgh

<p>So it's down to those two options. I think that I would like Pitt's campus better but there are also some advantages to staying instate. My parents want me to stay since it might be easier for me. Pitt is a great school for pre-med but I know a few doctors around here who might help me with clinical exposure and perhaps research.</p>

<p>What do you think?</p>

<p>I have sizeable scholarships at both places so money is not really a factor.</p>

<p>Pitt has the better medical and bioscience research reputation, but there is really no wrong choice there. Go where you feel happiest and are most comfortable. You only get once chance to be an undergrad.</p>

<p>Pitt for pre-med, but either choice is a good one. I would probably opt for Pitt as much as I like Minnesota.</p>
