University of Pittsburgh or Minnesota Twin Cities for a pre-med/biology major??

Both are great schools. There is wrong choice there. Go where you are more comfortable and think you’ll be happiest. Pitt has a better reputation in medicine and medical research, but for undergrad both are great schools and will provide ample opportunities for undergrad research and volunteering/shadowing, etc.

Strong pre-med at both. Pitt obviously better reputed med complex/school but Minn very strong as well. Won’t make any difference to an undergrad.

Overall, sciences and the humanities and social science departments are clearly stronger at Minn with 19 programs ranked in the top 20 nationally.
