I have been accepted to both. OU on full National Merit scholarship, Georgia Tech with no scholarship and out of state tuition, about $42k per year total. I'm looking to go into chemical engineering. I realize Georgia Tech is a better school, but is it $170k better?

It’s not $170k worth of debt better…

OU has a decent ChemE program. With the $ you’ll save, you be able to keep all of your options open, such as med school, grad school, or employment, without having to worry about paying back a huge student loan.

Good Luck!

OU is a very good school. Go there and have fun.

Thanks for the replies! I should mention I’m also planning on either minoring or double majoring with computer science. Would you say OU has a strong program for it as well?@stanatedj @gator88NE
