I hope there aren’t that many honeybunnies at Wharton. First of all, 2260 isn’t such high score that it give u the right to hand out elitist judgement to others. Your snobbish attitude wont get u far in wharton or in life.

And by the way, im going to wharton next year, and im not feeling the need to bash anyone based on their SAT score. Seriously, who will give a shi t about theyre SAT score in a few years???

Guyz, I thought you’d be better at spotting ■■■■■■ by now, but I guess not (the date he registered should be a nice hint). He probably didn’t even apply to Penn, or if he did he probably got rejected from Wharton and is now taking out his frustration by ****ing you guys off, which seems to be working.

^ pffttt a 35 on the ACT is clearly inferior to the awe-inspiring 2200 on the SAT…lol

btw, I was wait listed by Penn, I guess that makes me unworthy of the space i take up…I should just end it all, and bequeath my belongings to someone who got into Penn…haha

^yes, bicyclekick, you should!
i mean, i’m clearly above you because i got into penn…but oh wait! i didn’t get a 2200+ nor am i in wharton. hmm. i guess that makes you superior to me by default because penn cas is such a safety school. pffft.

ooh oooh…I was wait listed at Princeton too…does that make me superior to a student that got into Penn?? because Penn is the dirt the Princeton wipes off of its shoes…lol

Haha I hope you all end up going. I can’t wait to meet you guys in person… P.S. I think we scared off honeybunny Is anyone else going to the Apr. 20th preview day?

Everything is so subjective and arbitrary anyway… Penn CAS is like top ten best A&S in the country… I have two friends, both of whom got rejected from Penn (CAS) but got waitlisted at Harvard… hmm. I don’t think I would go there even if I had applied and gotten in-- I don’t think Penn CAS is inferior to any other ivy

I just realized that I never posted stats here, so I’ll do it now

[/ul]General Comments:

I’m pleased. Most likely going to Wharton next year. Also got into Dartmouth (likely letter), UChicago, Duke, Northwestern, NYU Stern (20k scholarship), Tulane and Binghamton. Waitlisted Cornell AEM, Rejected HYPS; ouch. Thanks College Confidential for all the help; I’ve been here for like a year.

Funny how you guys even state that my 2260 isn’t that good and yet you defend the idea that people below 2200 are still “smart”.

Sorry people from CAS but if you know anything about Upenn, they are clearly labeled as the “kids who don’t know what to do with their lives” in the university. No offense but CAS students are what most of us would call the embodiment of rejects from HYPS. But it’s okay, you still get to carry the prestigious name “Upenn.”

Second, to the person who got into Princeton. . . Princeton is a far superior university than Upenn CAS or SEAS and you really should be proud of yourself for accomplishing such a feat.

Going to Wharton won’t make us instantly into Donald Trumps? Yeah I guess you are right but it’ll make us pretty damn close to it. Starting salary with bonuses at Goldman & Saches reached up to $80-$90k for most people. Employers view a Wharton undergrad degree almost as an MBA. These are true facts.

Am i talking too realistically here? If believing that I didn’t make it to Wharton makes you feel superior, then feel free. Yes my SAT score of 2260 is useless now that I made it to Wharton. But to the rejects, yes SAT is a huge deal and I will re-state my advise for future applicants: If you do not have above a 2200 in your SATs, don’t even bother applying to such a prestigious, high-class school like Wharton. Feel free to apply to CAS or SEAS where they students it is generally much “lesser”. Thanks.

*Oh and to the Wharton admits. Congratulations, welcome to the life of luxury and infinite opportunities. You will witness first hand how it feels as your friends in UNC Chapel Hill are running around New York begging for companies to admit them while you are sitting on your la-z-boy chair as employers line up, begging for you to work at their company; both in America or anywhere else in the world.

I’m saddened that Wharton let in such a student. With that kind of attitude, you’re going to be in for a rude wake-up call once you see what the reality of the situation really is.

i’m assuming that this person is a ■■■■■. but if he isn’t… and I run into a kid that has any distinguishing features that somehow relate to honey or boney. I am going to beat his ass. I don’t think anyone ever has before and it would actually be beneficial for his psyche to get it now. Better me the second he gets to penn, than the whole world when he gets out. I wonder what it is going to be like when he gets recruited by one of the 99.5% of business owners that didn’t graduate from wharton. They will love to hear about how much better your degree is.
