@ivydreamer2021 I either did that or biochem if that’s an option, can’t remember.
guys i was looking at the u penn newspaper they got over 40,000 apps this year! I calculated that the acceptance rate this year will be 9% while last years was 9.4%.
:’) rip literally considering taking a gap year to apply ED for '22 bc the acceptance rate is so much higher
Anyone know how many students are admitted to Wharton?
@Classtwentyone 526 people matriculated last year https://undergrad.wharton.upenn.edu/class-profile/
Hey guys, so I know there has been a lot of posting about this, but I have been taking so many Ls from college decisions lately, I just need reassurance that Penn will work out. I received the finaid letter, do you think I could positively assume a yes from Penn? I’m so stressed and depressed lol
@nerdbregade I’m in the same boat as you. I’m getting nervous seeing so many people receiving these letters. I have a gut feeling I will be waitlisted.
@nerdbregade read this thread. one person was waitlisted though. http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/university-pennsylvania/163029-did-i-get-into-upenn-p1.html
@loz4life I have the same exact feeling. Im getting so excited and I just know that I’m going to be let down. Honestly I would rather be rejected so I can move on with my life and not be waiting for a decision after May 1.
Thank you for that thread, even a waitlist would be great imo, at least it isn’t a no! @stressedsenior99 I really wish that we could all get in, and hopefully no matter where we go it will all turn out okay
Welp I didn’t get a letter and applied for financial aid But then again, my family has no demonstrated need according to the FAFSA so maybe they just didn’t send it to me because of that?? Hopefully??
Thank you! I wonder how many applied to Wharton ?
Nothing is guaranteed , but I think it’s a great sign! I am missing items and didn’t get the letter so it is obviously only going to select applicants!
Got the letter as well. I hate it but now my hopes are kinda up high but I’m so worried I’ll be really let down on Thursday
Watch me be the first reject who received that letter
I did not apply for financial, so I am guessing that is why I did not receive a letter.
Is the letter only about the CSS profile or tax returns too? And is it always about missing docs or just “more financial info” about you so they can get your package ready?
Missing docs: 2015 tax returns and w2 forms.
So, did we decide that everyone received the email about the decision release date of next week or do I possibly stand a chance?
@jen2016 Yes everyone received it. It was a very generic email. Its purpose was literally just to let every applicant know when decisions are coming out.
