Regarding whether financial aid is revoked if you take a gap year – absolutely not! My son got a ton of need-based aid because we are a moderate income family. His financial aid package was fantastic.

Btw, what do they mean an admitted cohort of 3669 students and then they say penn enrolls 2 thousand something… students - what about the others? Do they reject the offer, waitlisted or what?
@hibaibtoivy If I remember correctly most schools admit more than they can enroll because most admitted decide to not take their spot.
@hibaibtoivy They admit people based on a yield rate, so historically they know if they admit x amount of people y% of those people won’t enroll at UPenn.
I think 66% was the yield last year.
