hahah, um she got into Stanford, Yale, Cornell, Brown, Dartmouth but was rejected from Harvard, Penn, and waitlisted at Princeton. Go figure!

Penn looks to be a match for you. You definetly have a good chance with that recommendation from the retired Wharton administrator.

Thanks for your reply again. Yeah, I seem to be getting the most comments about the rec

Well scientifically you should get in. But you have to prove yourself as a human/student, not a all-star robot. As I found out through CC, there are a LOT of people with amazing stats like yours. Some get in and some don't. You have to be interesting. And the best place to prove that IMO is the essays. My stats were no where near yours and I got in.

Anyway, good luck.

Thanks! Yeah, I actually pride myself on writing, so I hopefully did well on my essays.

Haha, Jesus, that's one hell of an HS career. Three APs your sophomore year?

When I was in high school just taking 1 AP was considered good stuff....

Yeah, hahaha, each year college acceptance seems to get more and more competitive. I'm surprised by the juniors and sophomores at my school who are accomplishing crazy things.

Tell me something I don't know ;). The sophomores are already planning their RSI projects and Westinghouse papers hahha.

Yeah, it is amazing

Here is an update that I sent to all my colleges:
-National Merit Finalist
- My science bowl team made regionals (so far) for the National Science Bowl Competition
- One of my music pieces was announced to be premiered Dresden 2006 - Sound, City, Silence composition competition (for piano trio).
- I was accepted to attend the Third International Workshop for Young Composers (rolling acceptance)
- Third prize for International de Composition pour Orchestre d'Harmonie (performance in June)
Hopefully it will help? :)

Nah, I really don't think Penn will even look at that.

:P

LOL

Obviously he's being sarcastic. Great stuff!!

hahaha thanks

I'll be surprised if you don't get into Penn with the awseome rec from Wharton.

I hope they do look at that recommendation :).

Btw, I think that your update will totally help you. It definitely strengthens your chances.

Thanks...I hope the update reaches Penn in time.

yeah man, you're probably as close to a sure thing as it gets

sorry to jinx you

gheyness to the extreme

almost as ghey as spelling gay ghey
