How generous is university of Pittsburgh when awarding credit done through dual enrollment (for out of state students)? What is the credit limit?
I think that is really going to depend on your desired major? Pitt is super helpful. I’m sure you could contact admissions or the department and discuss with them?
I am thinking of doing the premed track
I think your better question here is this: “which classes do I need to take again at college for medical school admissions?” I’ve always read that those seeking medical school admission should take Biology and Chemistry, etc. AT the university and not use AP credits for those classes.
But I am most decidedly not a medical school admissions pro so you need to dig around for those answers. Probably using your AP credits for history, government, etc. would free up your schedule to allow you to build a cool minor or explore something new.
