my gpa from 9-11 grade is 3.85 but im worried about my sat scores
math - 550
critical reading - 540
writing - 660
if my scores aren't good enough could i still have a chance with my grades and gpa?
my dad works as an I.T. for pitt, does that help my chances?
and if i apply early decision does that help? I don't think I am going to take the sats again but i am looking into the acts. I get mostly all A's and am going to get some good letters of recommendation. I am in some school clubs and captain of my soccer teams. For my senior year i am also taking an AP class. I have my heart set on Pitt and want to make sure I can get in!

How many APs have you taken?

Get that SAT score up by about 200 points or do well on the ACT, and you’ll be set. As of right now, your scores are a bit low, but your GPA is fine. Also, try to take AP classes/tough classes next year. If you really like Pitt, but you can’t get in, consider applying to one of the branch campuses and transferring in after a year. A friend of mine is doing that right now.

i have not taken any APs besides the one im going to take my senior year

Most likely acceptance.
