Hi I am a senior in high school and was wondering what my chances for getting into the University of Pittsburgh are.

gpa= 3.3/89% (In my school an A starts at 94%)

Sat= 1850 super-scored- 620 reading 590 math 640 writing

Extra curricular activities include interact and amnesty international clubs, student council (no high position), ski club, football for a year, golf and tennis for a year. Week long mission trip to Ohio over the summer, and some other church related volunteer services.

My grades have increased every year since freshman year because I gradually began applying myself until it was too late. As a senior I have 3 AP classes and a 97% average for my first term.

My application was fully completed by 11/10/10- I know that is kind of late..

I also sent into an email to the admissions stating how I went on a tour and how much I liked it and wanted to go there, as well as why I only have a 3.3 which doesn't reflect my academic ability.

So what are my chances of getting in? Am I too late? I put down my major as undeclared but also put down the college of engineering as my intended school that I plan on attending.

If you have any ideas for the other schools I applied to, (Univ. of Delaware, Penn State, Univ. of Vermont) let me know because I am very worried about getting into any of these colleges as I feel I have little chance.

Any input will help, thanks!
