@Unionville5 Yes I was just notified by mail (I live in Richmond). Yes at the bottom of the letter they put a UR ID and another brochure gives details on how to send your enrollment deposit in. Honestly I haven’t checked the portal before (I really thought I had no shot) but I just did and it says ‘Processed Applications’ if that helps at all.
@urbanmichaelj there is a slim chance that we were all either deferred/rejected

it honestly does make sense that UofR would change it to the deposit request. That’s the part that’s freaking me out.
@dangjamja I just got accepted, let me know what I can check in the portal to see if it means anything for those who don’t live close to the school and who haven’t been notified yet.

Does that take you to a page that says Application Summary? Anywhere on that page is there a link to an admissions deposit? I think this is the confusion.

@Piper1128 No, all it says is the application summary, the “below is a summary of…”, my name, admissions term, type, date received, etc. Says nothing about a deposit request
@classof18student when you log in to see your application status, is there anything regarding making a deposit to officially attend uofr?Also, could you find out if the application ID on the mail is the name as the one you received a while back when you applied? that would greatly clear up the confusion. thanks!
@dangjamja Nah, there’s nothing on the portal relating to making a deposit at all.
For the second question I don’t know where to check the ID of the one I received awhile ago when I replied. If you can tell me the subject of the email that it was sent or something I can find out
@classof18student the title of the e-mail that contains you UR ID that allowed you to check on your application status was " Is your Richmond application complete?"
@classof18student the email is from application@richmond.edu and the subject is “Is your Richmond application complete?” somewhere in the middle of the paragraph, it gives you the UR ID
@classof18student hold on, what ID did you use to log in to your portal to access your application summary? that ID should be the one in the email…

now, this is the confusing part, as @Raider01 is expecting an ID from the mail, but @classof18student has the same application summary even after being admitted, and the ID is the same one from the ID used to log in/the one received in the email.

@dangjamja I can assure you I see nothing about a deposit in my portal, and that I received the neat red and blue big envelope with a YES in the middle. The acceptance letter says the exact same UR ID in it don’t worry

@dangjamja Maybe his portal did change and he’s telling the truth I’m not sure why he would lie, but that was his first post on here and I don’t see why UR would change the portal or change the UR ID that just doesn’t make any sense at all to not reuse the same UR ID’s you were given when you applied. Makes no sense
@classof18student thank you so much!!! I live in an apartment, so big mails don’t fit in the mailboxes (they’re kept at the apt. office). If I get a small envelope, I’ll know I didn’t get in!!
