Those of you who have received the letter, did it come USPS or FedEX?
I think what @Raider01 means is that if you are admitted, you receive a new log in for admitted students. For UMASS Amherst, I had an application status log in, but when I was accepted I received new log in info. So @Raider01 was able to log in with his current ID, see his portal changed, and I’m assuming he/she was admitted which means that with the acceptance letter there will be a new ID and password.
@bestcasescenario i think its usps from the pics they have on twitter admission page haha.
So @Raider01 is the only person admitted so far?
where did you guys find your current richmond id? I forgot to autosave my information and I kind of don’t know where I found my richmond id in the first place…
Look in your email for it, they give it when you apply
If my portal hasn’t changed, does that mean I haven’t been accepted? Also how long will it take for the letter to come from Richmond to Phoenix?
My daughtered applied ED and was accepted to UR in December. The day before the letter arrived, she had a deposit option on her portal. She was able to access it…so she assumed she had gotten in…the letter came the next day.
Is the UR ID they assign when you’ve applied the same as the ID you get if you are accepted?
@smokey749 I believe so, unless things have changed. My UR ID I was given back when I applied (graduated high school in 2014) is the same as my current UR ID number.
I got in with a 4.0 weighted gpa and 35 ACT, definitely wasn’t expecting to get in
lmao what. ofc u would get in with that
I’m so disappointed I didn’t get the deposit request… do you think we would still get a big envelope if we got deferred/rejected?
I don’t think anyone got a deposit request.
@dragonmom3 @Raider01 had his application status change to make a deposit
Chill of course u would get in
Idiot
I guess @Raider01 is the only person who was accepted here then?
Is that likely?
Or more likely a glitch/mistake on his/her part?
@classof18student were you just admitted to UR? If so, has your portal changed and did you receive a UR student ID in your acceptance letter that will enable you to make a deposit? There seems to be a lot of confusion as to whether portals were changed for students who have been accepted but may not have received their letters yet.
If you’re class of 18 at UR, then my long post just wasted everyone’s time. Apologies.
@Lbm @urbanmichaelj not really, my unweighted GPA is only a 3.2 and I’m also white which doesn’t help. My college counselor said it was a pretty big reach. Good luck to both of you though
