You’re in the regular decision pool now. The fact that you applied ED will give you a little higher chance on those ppl who didn’t. Just keep your grades up and maybe try to get higher on the SAT! If they see you’re still persevering and still want to go to UR you will get accepted. So you’re still getting in you just have to wait a while longer. Don’t give up.

Well, I didn’t get in, but at least my theory was right.

If you were deferred or not accepted, take some time to mourn. Then get back on the horse and go! Your status is not a reflection on you. Last year a friend of my daughter’s was not accepted at UR and had to “settle” for an acceptance to Harvard. For you to even consider UR you are a top notch student who will be accepted into a top notch school. Good luck!!

Harvard huh? that’s funny My classmate didn’t get in. Wasn’t even deferred or wait listed… what I’m asking myself is did i take away from her chances? My application wasn’t complete until Dec. 6 and i even called Dec. 9 and asked to be changed to Regular decision and they still didn’t decide on me because the lady told me that moving to RD was still an option. (in the end i stayed ED) I know that UR is her dream school and i didn’t want to take chances away from her…

On a happier note, did anyone get any money?

I GOT IN as far as money goes, I got in the Financial Aid I need, but no scholarships. Did anyone hear about the Trustee Scholarship?

Dude! Congratulations! Were ganna be classmates

GPA 3.52 It’s low but it’s because of my freshman year and my essay is about maturing from freshman year and starting to get better grade in the next years.

Do I have a shot after being deferred?

Deferred and depressed :(

My College of Charleston big envelope tricked me too.

my bf got that denied too :(

you know there is a difference between denied and deferred
was it deferred or denied?

Jtdaman dude what happened? I got accepted with a 1850/1310 SAT and i’m only taking 3 ap’s… I guess my supplement (comfort zone) sealed the deal. I think you have a great chance!

Yes, the Trustee Scholarship information comes with the acceptance packet. I got accepted and was awarded the $15,000 Trustee Scholarship.
