Does anyone understand how the notification works? When and How do you find out? Big or small envelope? Is there any trick to finding early, like calling or something etc...?

Hi collegebound…This is how it worked two years ago: We followed @URAdmissions on Twitter. The day that letters went out we got a tweet saying, “let the mailbox stalking begin!” I think that was on a Friday. On Monday, we received a FedEx envelope with acceptance information. That is how it worked two years ago. I don’t know if that is how it will work next week. I suggest keeping an eye on the UR Admissions page blog and tweets at [Undergraduate Admission - University of Richmond](http://admissions.richmond.edu/) Calling will do no good.

Take a deep breath! You’re almost there! I hope you get good news. Please let us know!

I’ve heard that letters were sent yesterday . . .anyone know anything?

Who did you hear that from? I think if letters went out, UR Admissions would either blog or tweet to let people know. But that’s just my opinion.

My daughter’s friend got a rejection letter in the mail today; we haven’t heard anything, but our mail hasn’t come.

PAV, do you recall if your child’s admit letter from last year came fed ex or usps?

what state do you live in?

we live in virginia

Im from new york and i haven’t gotten anything, im pretty sure they fedex it, i would think they would tweet it before they send them out

i would have expected a tweet too, and there’s nothing. i don’t know if the courier service they use is fed ex or some other overnight service, like ups or usps. but my daughter’s friend said she got her letter today via snail mail. and so we wait.

our mail was just delivered and there was nothing in it.

you could try to put your banner web ID and last name into the deposit area of the accepted students part of richmonds site and if it accepts then i assume your in

collegebound I did that and it says Payment not Allowed. Do you think that means I was rejected? It also said sorry payment is not allowed at this time! I am freaking out just a bit.

i tried to do that on the deposit page and it says “Sorry payment option isn’t allowed at this moment.”

wonder if that means anything…

what did other people get?

We can’t get into banner web at all, it locked us out. Sounds like it would have just said payment not allowed, and that thats not an indicator.

Yea I think they fixed it from previous years, i’m guessing the letter will come monday or tuesday. I got the same no payment at this time thing. The facebook group still has no members besides the richmond guy so I assume no one has heard back yet anyway

Yeah i saw the fb group… getting so nervous!! i can’t wait any longer :/

I was SURE the acceptance letter came FedEx. My wife went and pulled up the photo of her opening a Priority Mail USPS envelope. So I lied…The acceptance came USPS and the photo is dated 12/14.

Thanks for checking your photos for us . . . and giving me a great idea for if my daughter is lucky enough to receive good news this coming week. We will be stalking the mail person on Monday! Good luck to college bound and surfer too!

When I went to Banner Web Deposit page and typed in last name and id I got" Account Error: …currently not set up to make payments thru this system…" Is that the same error message that everybody else got… Mine did not say “sorry, payment not allowed at this time”…freaking out for sure!
