I read a previous post where the admission deposit site https://bannerweb.richmond.edu/pls/cmgr/UGOnlineDeposit.home
would show a deposit needed for anyone admitted last year. Has anyone tried entering their information this year? Does it work?

My daughter tried today and it worked but nothing in the mail yet… does that mean she got accepted?
If she had a payment due yes I do think she got in. It didn’t work for us, but congratulations.
Did she get a letter?

Sad, but moving on to the next schools. Surprised she wasn’t even deferred just denied. I emailed the admissions office asking for reasoning on the deferral and they wouldn’t give it to me.
@class22mom your daughter sounds amazing and this was clearly Richmond’s loss. It probably was the SAT because that’s the only possible “weakness” from what you described. Has she considered any test optional schools?? I know Wake Forest is test optional (harder than Richmond to get in but you never know, they are very holistic)…we might be past the deadline, not sure.
If admissions won’t give you feedback, maybe they will give it to her guidance counselor? They may feel more comfortable with that.
Good luck to her. She will end up somewhere terrific.
Did your D have a specific admissions counselor? I know of students who have called their regional admissions counselor personally and sometimes they will speak if it was the GPA or testing scores. Maybe have your D call? I wish you all the best of luck! I completely understand the test anxiety. I’m sure she will end up somewhere fabulous.
Thank you. I feel it is Richmond’s loss too, but it wasn’t meant to be and that is ok. She has a strong faith in God and feels like he wants her somewhere else. She did apply to Bowdoin in Maine which is test optional. As far as subject matters go - writing holds her back, but has always excelled in Bio, Math, Physics. I guess we will wait and see. She is also looking at Quinnipiac and University of New England. She has favored NE schools but really loved the Richmond Campus. She is not as upset as I was but that is the mom in me.
@collegemomjam @rvalover7 As I was typing my earlier response, we received an email from Quinnipiac she was accepted with a Dean’s scholarship of $18,750 per year. Waiting on responses from UNE and Bowdoin before making a final decision, but it feels good to know she was recognized for all she has done. Thank you. I wish your students the very best of luck at Richmond. God Bless
Hi! That’s fabulous!!! I have a cousin that graduated from Quinnipiac and she has a fabulous job in fashion marketing (worked for Vera Wang and then Oscar de la Renta).
I am a college advisor and have a few clients that applied to Richmond…no kids of my own there (my two college aged girls are at other schools)…but it’s on my radar for my son. But definitely tough admissions standards so we won’t get our hopes up.
Congrats to your daughter. She is headed for greatness, I’m sure!!!
@collegemomjam Thank you. I have heard great things about Quinnipiac and we scheduled our admitted students day in March to see it up close and will decide soon. Good luck to your son. I wish him well - glad I get a few years to breathe before my youngest starts this journey.
