US News and World Report just released their 2018 College Rankings and the University of Richmond jumped from 27th position to 23rd in the National Liberal Arts Colleges category. That is up from 30th position in 2015.
I just wish their health center was open more often. If you plan on attending, plan on treating everything at urgent care or the ER. This means if your son or daughter has strep for example, they have to go to the ER on weekends. I got a bill for $ 1700 for a strep test and one steroid dose. Any other college would have had some weekend hours. They simply don’t put any money into their health center and because they are woefully understaffed they are booking out two weeks never mind if you are really sick.
@andchex I feel your pain and feel similarly. This year is particularly bad with widespread Strep and the flu. I plan on reaching out this week to dig a little deeper as to what can be done in the future so the kids can be seen on campus as opposed to using Urgent Care in order to be seen in a timely matter.
