Anyone have any thoughts after that waitlist seminar last night?
Hi all, I just declined my offer of admission today and will pursue academics at my dream school. Hopefully this will open up another spot for yāall!

I thought it was super super informative. They actually gave us numbers which is more than I can say for other schools. Makes me nervous that 4005 students were accepted and thereās 1200 waitlisted students though. Seems like about 50-90 students will be accepted off the waitlist from what they were saying when they compared this year to last year. The fact that thereās only 850 spots also makes me nervous as to why sooo many people were accepted. only 725 people are filling the class of 2025 insta which is a bit promising.

Hi guys! I was waitlisted for URichmond, and I was wondering if any of you know how it works if they admit you, do you have the option to defer for a year? Because Iād love to go to UR but I was considering taking a gap year but if I got in, Iād still want to hold my place for next year.

No, you will not. The objective of the waitlist is to fill the class for that coming year. URās waitlist is pretty selective, and they give you a few days (at most) to decide if you want to go or not.
