University of Rochester for Pharm

University of Rochester has a good medical program, but how about pharmacy? Is going here for pharmacy a bad idea? Will the school be able ot provide me with the right courses and education for me to go onto pharmacy school once i graduate?

Why don’t you just attend a 0-6 school that gets you into the pharmacy program straight from high school?

In reality, you could go to any school to do undergrad and then reapply for pharmacy school. You could attend University of Rochester under some other major, like biochem, but make sure that you are taking the prerequisite courses for pharm school. It might be better to apply to a school that has a prepharm program, though. I’m not sure if the University of Rochester has that.

Yes, it does not have a specific pharm program. The reason I am applying to schools without pharm programs is that I am not a 100% sure if I want to go into it. If i happen to have a change of thought once the time comes for me to choose a final school to attend, I can fall back onto a school that I actually want to go to, not just attend the state school that admitted me for pharm.
