Chance me back <a href=“Cornell, UC Berk, CMU, UMich, Georgia Tech - #6 by rickynext7071 - Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums”>Cornell, UC Berk, CMU, UMich, Georgia Tech - #6 by rickynext7071 - Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums;

I didn’t start applying to colleges until about two and a half years after graduation because I went overseas, but last year I applied to GTech and got accepted. Take into mind that I am, and always have been a resident of Georgia and I’m not sure how strict admissions is for out-of-state applicants.

My credentials at the time:
SAT - 1700-ish
ACT- N/A
GPA - 3.4
EC’s: Spent two years in Japan for language school, and passed the JLPT2 (fluency equivalent). Internships at two F500 companies. Self taught C++, Java, PHP, and Ruby programming languages,

My EC’s are notable, but you have a lot more. Your SAT score is higher, and your GPA is higher. You should be able to get into GTech as far as I know.

@Brenms‌ Thank you for the feedback. It is a bit easier to get into GTech instate(as far as i know) but you helped me give myself a better idea if I can get in or not. Thank you!
