is USP a good school?? I can't find its rank in the US news book. what is the school like? and How's the area?? is it a good school to go to if u are considering a medical field in the future??

ummm anyone?

Not as well know as other Philadelphia area schools, but well regarded by graduate schools and for its own Pharmacy school. I gather it's a "weed out" place; not too difficult to be admitted, but hard as hades to graduate from. My own take is that the place needs to strengthen the liberal arts segment of its core, or even add liberal arts minors, to attract a broader applicant pool.

Recently USP has spent money on student life upgrades, like a new recreation center. Bottom line, a B.S. from USP will get you into medical school or graduate school if you've got good grades.

Its pharmacy school is really good. It is first pharmacy school in States and six founders of famous pharmaceutical companies went this school. Have great reputation in pharmacy fields. I don't know about other majors. This school provides sciences related majors and it's located in university city in philadelphia. UPenn and Drexel are near this school.

what are some other schools with good pharmacy programs??
ps. is pharmacy a major ?
