Even if you had moved him and he had made 6%, there would have been no guarantee that he would have made ut. It’s more than just ranking and test scores.
In TX he would be auto admitted if he was top 6% and he applied but not necessarily to his major. It’s a hot topic for parents of Texas students in highly academic schools. Our middle school hosts a seminar on how best to get to that level and options if you don’t. Other Texas public universities are required to take the top 10%. A&M’s acceptance came back almost immediately.
I guess if he was a felon or sex offender but is there something else I don’t know about?
@jumpman2323 An ACT of 32 corresponds to 1430 and score of 33 corresponds to 1460. A 30 would be equivalent to 1370 on the SAT. I’m using a tool on ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ to convert the scores.
Have any non auto-admits, regular deadline, in state been admitted to Moody- Communication and Leadership yet?

We aren’t able to offer you admission to The University of Texas at Austin as a freshman, but we would like you to consider participation in the Coordinated Admission Program (CAP). Learn more.
Seems like all rejections and CAPs, not really any correlation to residency or college?
