University of Texas--Austin Admissions

My status is still the same for me :frowning:

Just got admitted to biology, OOS–32 ACT, 3.93 wgpa. ECs included 4 years varsity sports and a few other things. Very nice!

why mine is not up there?

Just came through
waitlisted. I’m a little bummed, but my S will not care at all. He got in where he really wants to go, and that’s all that matters.

Just received admission into Cockrell for Electrical Engineering.

@‌helicopter8
Auto-admit, 1440 CR + M (2160 total), 31 ACT, top 5%.
ECs in community volunteer activities, competitive robotics, foreign language tutoring.

Just got into Engineering. What about Engineering Honors? Does that come out today?

I’m not sure I understand. D was offered: waitlist, PACE and CAP. Is that what everyone receives if they don’t get accepted?

IM ALMOST CRYING I GOT ACCEPTED FINALLYYYY NO MORE STRESS!!!

Got into Biology! Top 9.6%, SAT 2070, ACT 30. Good luck to you all!!!

Got capped to every school. I’m actually shaking in disappointment at myself

Interesting
the waitlist link offers the possibility of a proposed major (coming Fall 2016) in the College of Fine Arts that looks very similar to the Visualization program at A&M that my S will be attending – sorry, UT
you’re a little behind!

any people who got in Mccomb? i am still in review

I JUST GOT CAPPED YOU GUYS

Some only get CAP’d, some get offered all 3 @Wrigleymom

So i guess UT doesn’t want me to know if i got accepted or rejected

Just entered the wait list. Best of luck to anyone else who is in this position. Does anyone know when they will give final decisions to waitlisted students?

@ESB100 My engineering honors is still listed as under review.

What about scholarship info? Does that come later?

My son just got accepted into Chemical Engineering, his first choice. Good luck for folks who are waiting. Our long wait is over for becoming Longhorn.

I should clarify that some honors programs only send snail mail so those won’t be in your hands by the end of today
but supposedly all decisions have been made
scholarships are done by totally different people typically so who knows
