University of the Pacific

Hi,
I am interested in the dental program this college has.
But i dont meet the requirements for the 5 year program.
I do meet the gpa but i do not meet the SAT score they require.
Do i have a chance of getting in still?
Thanks!

Is this where you're seeing the SAT scores? And yours are under this composite? If so, my suggestion would be to apply as a regular undergraduate. Then, if you get in, you can take their prescribed list of general education and science courses for the first two years as if you were pre-dentistry. If you do well, you'd be all set to transfer into the 3rd year of the program. However, you should call their admissions office to confirm that this is possible. And note the November 15 admission deadline.

The SAT requirements for regular undergraduate admission at Pacific are not that rigorous. Admitted students from my son's high school over the past 2 years had SAT scores ranging from 1400 to 2000 (on a 2400 scale). Their GPAs were all above 3.5.
