University of Toronto decision schare class of 2023

@ebite043 I applied to quite a few unis. But currently I’m waiting for decisions from LUC the Hague and SOAS.

@Dreamer2023 okay, I hope your get through with all!

@Dreamer2023 I hope you get through with all!!

Thanks and all the best to you!

Hi, I’m not sure how she ranked her choices, sorry!

Hey everyone. I’m an international student and applied for the Lester scholarship. Has anyone heard about any recipients or when they will be releasing more decisions?

@hutkit
Hey I also applied for the scholarship but I haven’t heard anything from them at all

Artsci admissions: “Enrolment Services experienced an unforeseeable delay in their system. As a result, they were unable to release their second round of admission offers in March. The second round has therefore been delayed to mid-April”

I’m a 105F applicant and we are required to respond by May 1 bu unfortunately I have yet to receive my decision. U of T is really testing people’s patience at this point - which I’m surprised considering US schools require essays, supplements, ECs and most decisions come out well before April. Hopefully those of us still waiting get an update soon.

Hey guys, engineering 105F applicant here. Has anyone heard from the UofT Engineering International Scholarship? This is the one with 20,000 CAD, four years renewable.

Hey everyone! My name is Mariana; I’m an international who applied to artsci in St. George. I got my admission earlier in the month, maybe last month. My sat was of 1200, no ap classes because I’m from Mexico, we don’t have ap classes, 9.8 GPA.

I also applied for the LBP scholarship, and I’m currently waiting for an answer. I heard two people from India already got awarded, but one of them rejected it; he decided to go to UC Berkeley.
I was checking last years thread on the LBP scholarship, and most of them got their emails by 25-26 of April. Best of luck to everyone!! We can do this:).

Hello! Has anyone received any admission scholarships from the Faculty of Artsci? I haven’t even accepted my offer of admission yet because I want to make sure that I’ll be awarded something, but at this point, I just think I didn’t got anything…

I called them earlier last week and they said that they are REALLY behind schedule. Like by a few weeks. The lady on the phone said that usually they give out decisions at the end of March but that has been pushed back to mid to late April. She said that if you’re a student based in the US (regardless if you applied as an international or as a Canadian PR), you WILL get a decision before May 1st.

@Anairam01 If you have been accepted, and you have not received an academic scholarship like the U of T scholars, that means you won’t get it. For academic scholarships, they would have given it to you with your acceptance letter. For other scholarships like leadership and what not, I am not sure. I have not heard anything. In addition, you have to keep in mind that you applied to the Faculty of Artsci. The Faculty of Artsci do not give out a lot of scholarships for the first year students. If it is engineering, that is another story. I heard that most U of T students get scholarships after their first year, and those are college scholarships.

@Anairam01 Leadership scholarships and others, based on your Awards Profile, are technically not admission scholarships.

So I’d say if you already have been accepted, but in your acceptance letter it does not mention anything, it most likely means you will not get it. The chances of it coming, later on, are very slim.

@Anairam01 I did not get a scholarship either, but I did get the U of T scholars award with my acceptance letter, so that’s how I know.

@NorcalGangGang ?about decision before May 1, and also from U. Waterloo. I just sent email inquiries (before reading your message about their delays).

Well guys, I don’t know if I did the right thing.
I already accepted the admission offer while awaiting the LBP scholarship. Is that okay please?

@Ripples98 I feel like your acceptance should not affect whether or not you get the scholarship…

@waiting4newz I contacted Waterloo and they said that CS would be coming the week of May 6 so we won’t get it in time.

@NorcalGangGang CS or CE or Math is the most competitive and highly sought after courses at Waterloo. Almost every year their acceptance decisions come between second and third week of May. For most other courses the admission is pretty easy and you get decisions pretty fast. This means losing deposit of 2000 CAD ( if one accepts UoFT) or 1000 CAD (for most other universities) but then it is worth it. All the best. We are also keeping our fingers crossed for our son, who other wise has Engineering acceptances at UoFT with small scholarship and at NYUAD with full Ride
