Hi, I’m an OOS applicant and I got deferred from the EA pool for UVa. I have an 1880 composite SAT score, 4.3 GPA, many extracurricular activities and several leadership positions. After reading about other applicants who got deferred I am not even sure why the admissions board is giving me a second chance for RD. UVa is my dream school, I applied to the School of Arts and Sciences with an interest in Commerce (Business.) What are my chances of getting accepted for RD? Also, what can I do to up my chances of being accepted? I know I am applying to a school but are other majors less selective? Please help I will do anything to be accepted. I am working really hard but I’m afraid it’s not enough.
I got rejected with a 2000 and 4.4 weighted :/. I hope you get in though!
I can’t really help with chancing you, I’m in the same boat (deferred, out of state, commerce interest). So I’ll just say good luck to both of us
