University of Wisconsin

Hey
i have a question about the UW International Studies program. I know UW Political Science program is top notch but how is their IS program in comparison to other schools ? (American, GW)

This might seem silly so some as Madison is definetly not an international city because i really like the school and it would be great if it had a good dept. despite it's location.

cheers

apologies for the poor spelling

Madison specializes in area studies including Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. For a midwest school it has a very international outlook and sends among the most people to the Peace Corps of any school, etc. The UW also specializes in teaching a WIDE variety of languages, around 65.

awsome, thanks for that information. It's especially great because i was looking for a school with middle east outlook, and a dutch dept. so i could do my foreign language requirements with ease(as i am half dutch)
cheeky me
thanks for the info!
cheers

But how would it compare to that of the likes of AU and GW ? DC really gives an advantage i think and a school sending alot of kids to the peace corps doesn't nescesarily mean they are good IR schools ? Or not.. i don't really know alot about that whole peace corps thing.
cheers

bump bump bump

see that sexy body go bump bump bump haha lol
