UNKNOWN BANDS and WHY IT'S COOL TO LISTEN TO THEM...

In my opinion, Athlete owns Embrace. I love Snow Patrol, though all their songs start to run together and sound like one big piece. I loved Keane's single, "Bedshaped," but I don't love any of their other songs.

Have you guys heard of Menmechanical? They're my #2 favorite band.

My fave band is the Buzzc0cks, which was part of the popular punk movement around the time of the Sex Pistols. I don't know why they're not so popular now. They PERFECTED pop punk. Good Charlotte can go eat their shoes.

Corrupted? -____-
My friend adores Rilo Kiley (they're okay), but he started to whine about how much they sucked after he found them on MTV's website.
God, it's not like they changed or anything. "Does He Love You" is still "Does He Love You," whether it's in your CD player or on TV.
It's not corrupted because more people listen to it.

ok what i meant was that once its all overplayed and stuff, it loses its charm a little. this doesnt make me stop liking them, as i pretty clearly said. dont flip out everyone.

Awesome, metalheads. Old In Flames, Dimmu Borgir, Children of Bodom, Edguy, Sonata Arctica, Apocalyptica, Norther, Opeth, old Soilwork, Satyricon, Borknagar, etc....so good.

I think what's annoying is that once a band becomes popular, not necessarily sells out, there so-called fans abandon the band because now too many people like them. Examples would be Reel Big Fish and Weezer, you can tell the bands that fall victim to this because after some stellar records, their fans all of a sudden label their new stuff as crap. If you familiar with Weezer, you'll notice most of the original fans have turned against the band since Pinkerton, especially when "Hash Pipe" and "Keep Fishin'" brought the band beyond the college rock scene.

But as for me, I enjoy bands that are popular in Britain, but not so much in America, such as Robbie Williams and Oasis...some good stuff.
