<p>Okay, so you can kinda guess on this one if you have a good ear.</p>

<p>In any case, it’s not B because “would” is the wrong word to use.
C, D, and E can’t be right because none of them apply the conditional tense.
Only A makes sense, because it’s in the conditional tense with the verb ‘were’ (in this case, the ‘if’ is omitted).</p>
