<p>Um, the most popular majors are government, and then economics. Sciences and English are up there too… but there is no journalism major.</p>

<p>Realistically, how difficult is it to get into econ and govt classes? If you declare a major in econ or govt is it easier to get the classes you want or need?</p>
<p>It’s not incredibly difficult to get into the classes you want. You should always have a backup ‘major’ course you want to take that term, and you’ll be fine. Yes, once you declare a major, you do get preference to get into those classes.</p>
