<p>I don't know what to do with my life. I'm a senior with a 2.0 GPA and I haven't even taken the SATs yet. I have 0 extracurricular activities and no essay. My counselor recommends community college, but I don't want to go there and my parents wouldn't be happy with going to one.</p>
<p>I've applied to HEOP programs but I doubt I'll get into any of them. What should I do for now?</p>

<p>Why don’t you START at CC and get some core classes out of the way? Then you could transfer to a 4-year college. It will be cheaper and be a less scary way to start. It’s the diploma that matters, anyway - nobody will know that you started at a CC.</p>

<p>What do you want to do? What subjects do you like? It sounds like you are in a traditional high school when you should have been in a votech school, learning something you actually enjoyed. Why not try a CC, but rather than taking core classes, take something you might want to pursue as a career?</p>
<p>I’ve just read your other post. Maybe you should take a gap year and find a community service project you like. Give yourself some time.</p>
