unsatisfied

everyone on cc always seems so confident when they send their applications in and have spent hours revising and correcting and editing them. i, for one, am not nearly as satisfied with my apps as i would like to be, especially the ones that were due jan. 15th (my willpower was absolutely demolished after jan. 1st) reading over my essays, i'm like wow this is crap, i should have spent more time on this. does anyone else feel this way about their already-sent-in apps? :( misery loves company

i feel the exact same way..i really wish i spent more time on the essays. im a major procrastinator though, and when i look back at some of my essays, im like OMG wth is this!? hahah, id suggest not looking back at them..

im sure theres a lot of other people out there who feel the same way though too haha so dont worry about it .. you'll get into college :)

I wrote my NYU app from scratch on the night of the 16th (one day after the deadline, but luckily they pushed it forward cuz 15th was a holiday =P) I acutally signed up for an account 2 hours before USC's deadline and just finished it 15 minutes before lol. Ahh frenzied typing. so yeah, don't worry =P I don't think everyonee's spent hours revising and correcting. I just picked up on my nyu one flicking thru before I sent that I ticked and signed the early d box by mistake, etc. =P

lol

Haha, I'm sure that'd raise some eyebrows at adcomm if they see like when we signed up for accounts lol.

hahahha seriously. i know EXACTLY what you mean about the nyu one.. i literally wrote my last short answer for nyu at 11:56 PM on the 16th and finished it 2 minutes later. it was complete and utter crap but i really did not care at that point. haha, and when jhu's paper deadline got extended from the 1st till the 3rd, i just switched my entire app to paper cause i wanted the extra 2 days =) procrastinators uniteeee woo

I wrote my most important essay for Swarthmore the night before the deadline, because I didn't like what I had before and wanted to re-do it. I was really worried about it, since it was really unfinished sounding and one of the most important parts of my entire app...but I got in. So don't worry too much - what's done is done, anyway! :]
