As of the moment I’m in my third semester at community college. While I love the atmosphere and connecting with the students, I’m just not the biggest fan of the classes. A lot of them are tedious and don’t really hold my interest at all. I hate going to class and taking notes, I don’t even want to get out of bed in the morning for college a lot of the time and I skipped class for almost two weeks last semester because I got so depressed. My grades were mediocre my last two semesters, I failed my first semester because dad signed me up for 16 hours and it was way more than I could handle. I asked if I could drop a class, but he just said to try harder (even though I was busting my ass), and I got a 1.75 GPA and put on academic warning the next semester because of it. My second semester was at 2.25 GPA, and I’m failing one class currently but making an a, b, and c alongside it. My question is, should I stay in college? Because people are telling me to, but I just don’t feel like I should.
Maybe taking a break, getting a job for a while, and trying to figure out what YOU want to do will help.
Be strong and just spend more time with your friends, i think. Be ready for further difficulties and hold on tight. Complete the challenge)
