Unsure of SSAT Math score

My son received his scores for SSAT.

He ended up with 93% overall, but the issue is despite having a 767 in Math, he ended up with a 77%. Should he retake the test? The other scores were:

770 Verbal

719 Reading

He has not had math since last year in 8th grade. He is applying for 10th grade for the prep schools. Just hate to see him get flagged. I did talk to a couple of the schools and they suggested writing in to let admissions know that he hasn't had math since last year.
He won't even take Geometry until almost Feb. I don't like the block system his school utilizes.
(I posted this in another forum, but think it belongs here. I am new to this. Apologies.)

My advice is to let the schools know that he hasn’t taken math since 8th grade, but that might not work because he could have studied the math section in a SSAT prep book.
However, 93%tile overall is a really good score and he shouldn’t let the math score discourage him. His other scores seem great and while the school will look at the individual sections they will probably pay more attention to the overall percentile.

There was someone last year I think who got into HADES with a low score in math and 90s in the others.
