I'm a high school senior and have been admitted to each of the undecided programs at Penn State, the University of Maryland, and the University of Connecticut (Division of Undergraduate Studies, Letters & Sciences, and ACES respectively). Additionally, I was accepted into the College Park Scholars program at UMD and the Honors program at UConn. To be honest, I liked the Penn State campus the best upon first visit (I am visiting again in a few days). It is the place that I felt the most "connected" to, if you will. However, I'm nervous that because I was accepted into these other programs that perhaps I am better off at UMD or UConn. I have interests in Business and Journalism, but Engineering is still an option; I am truly an undecided student.

My question to all of you is do you think the Scholars and Honors programs at UMD and UConn present the substantial opportunities that they brag about and, if yes, is it enough to make them better options then just the regular program at Penn State? The alumni network at Penn State is fantastic and I feel like that could help me with finding a job after graduation just as much as the programs at the other two schools, but I'm not sure.

Also, if there are any Penn State students/alumni, do you feel that Penn State's location has restricted you at all? Whether it be with internships, job opportunities, or anything else.

All responses are truly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
