I have to make a choice between these two colleges ASAP. What is your opinion on each of these schools regarding classes, social life, faculty, amenities, etc? And if you could pick one over the other, which would you choose?
If it makes any difference, I’m majoring in Marketing.
It really depends on what you like best. UTD is overall a better school academically while UNT will give you more that total college experience. UNT is known for it’s music program while UTD is known for his computer science/ technical programs. On average most students will have a better social life at UNT due to them having a football team and places to hangout after class and on the weekend. UTD students pretty much retreat to their apartments after class and the weekends. Which one is better to attend is a personal decision. UTD is more of a close knit group while UNT is more diverse. If academics is your main focus UTD would be the better option. If you seek that typical college life UNT would be the better fit.
