<p>Is it possible for my D to order books in advance from the PSU bookstore and have them waiting for her already paid for on moving day?</p>

<p>That’s how I always do mine. I order them online and pick them up when I get there. There’s a special line for online textbook orders.</p>

<p>I just email my professors, prior to the start of the semester, and make sure of the book/edition. Then I order them online at Amazon- saves money.</p>
<p>The Penn State Bookstore website finally appears to be listing ISBN numbers online!</p>
<p>I get books in advance from Amazon if I can get them significantly cheaper, then just deal with the chaos at the bookstore for the remaining books. This is not something to stress over. I wouldn’t bother preordering personally.</p>
